I am Laila Armstrong, CEO of Excellence Consulting, Inc. My love for numbers led me to obtain my Bachelors of Science in Accounting, while working as an Accounting Clerk at the University of South Florida. A couple of years later, an opening at PricewaterhouseCoopers presented itself, and God allowed me to seize the opportunity! I spent several years and promotions as an avid learner absorbing a plethora of information at the firm, later obtained my MBA at the University of Phoenix, and moved on to bigger roles like the latest Global Business Director position at Victorious Life Assembly of God, Inc. where I put my nearly twenty years of hands on business experience to work. My vast business foundation ranges from frontline duties to high level experience such as Accounts Receivable/ Accounts Payable, Capital Financing, Investment Strategy, Employee Life Cycle Management, Mergers & Acquisitions, Forecasting/ Trend Analysis, formulating/ tracking a $5.6M budget, and much more. While serving in all of these roles, I maintained my private firm for 10 years as an outlet to share my knowledge and experience with small business owners and individuals through accounting and tax preparation services. As I expand to offer more than just tax services in three state locations (FL, CT, & NY), I have finally opted to focus on my business exclusively to obtain the flexibility I need to steward my responsibilities at home as I have in my career by the grace of God.
